Sleep & Wellness Retreat
8th – 10th June 2026 | Two nights, three days
Sleep affects every part of how we live — from energy and mood to clarity and resilience. When it is disrupted, even small changes can begin to impact daily life.
Whatever your current sleep pattern, you will be gently guided towards improvement through understanding, practical tools and personal insight. This may be for your own sleep, or to help you better support someone close to you experiencing sleep difficulties.
Often, in understanding sleep more fully, people begin to recognise patterns within themselves that had previously gone unnoticed.
This retreat is centred on sleep health, supported by wellbeing practices that help the body and mind move towards deeper, more consistent rest.
Who This Retreat Is For
This retreat is suitable for those experiencing sleep difficulties, as well as those who want to better understand sleep and how it can be improved. It can also be valuable for those supporting a partner, family member or friend, offering insight and practical approaches that can be shared beyond the retreat.
Understanding Sleep Health
Sleep underpins how we function — physically, mentally and emotionally.
When sleep is disrupted, it affects energy, mood, clarity and resilience. Over time, this can influence how fully we engage with life. Improving sleep is not simply about getting more hours; it is about understanding what allows the body and mind to settle naturally.
This retreat is designed to build that understanding, while offering approaches that can be carried forward into everyday life.
Sleep-Focused Experience
This retreat is designed to help you understand and improve your sleep, supported by practices that allow the body and mind to settle more naturally.
Each guest will receive a personalised one-to-one session with Jo West, focused on their individual sleep patterns, alongside a healing session with Julie Turner-Adkin. This session may include Reiki, Crystal Healing, Reflexology or Indian Head Massage, all supporting relaxation and the body’s readiness for rest.
Across the retreat, you will be guided through small, interactive workshops exploring sleep health, helping you recognise patterns, habits and influences that may be affecting your rest. These are supported by group discussions, offering shared insight and a broader understanding of how sleep can improve in realistic and sustainable ways.
Mindfulness practices are woven throughout, helping to quieten the mind and support sleep readiness. Meditative walks within the surrounding area allow the body to naturally unwind, supporting the transition into rest.
There is also the option to use the sauna and cold dip. These support the regulation of body temperature and encourage the nervous system to move between activation and relaxation. This process can help the body settle more effectively, supporting overall wellbeing and the ability to move into deeper sleep.
Nourishing, home-cooked food is an integral part of the experience, supporting the body physically while contributing to a greater sense of balance and ease.
The understanding you gain can support both your own sleep and, where relevant, how you approach supporting others — with change often beginning through your own awareness.
