How chakras develop in relation to human years.
Solar Plexus number 3 – Colour Yellow
Age range of development is 14 to 21 years. This is where your own personal power develops. Thoughts of own self-worth. Decisions, careers, where your place is in the universe. We begin to seek relationships to develop our own families. Even though the age range seems to have shifted in our modern world, our energy system and chakra development will still work to the ways and laws of nature. There is no harm in pushing against them, of course this is how the world develops, but knowing the original plan can help us to understand the push and pull of the soul.
Located around the lower rib area. This is said to be the seat of the soul. The area which is strongest at giving and receiving energy. Where we ‘give’ our energy away, often mistaken for others taking the energy. Individualism starts to develop. Stage of wisdom, ego, self. The emotion of rejection.
Front of chakra – How we use our personal power within our lives. Do we control or manipulate?
Back of chakra – Linked with our intent of our own healing. Are we in the right place/house/relationship? Not having enough sweetness in our lives – diabetes link.
Governs: Spleen, pancreas, stomach, kidneys, adrenals, liver, and gallbladder. Relationship with mother and father.
Relates to: Self-confidence, self-esteem, how we interface with others’ energies, setting goals and achieving them.
Healthy and balanced: Assertive, able to advocate for self, able to complete projects.
Being the seat of our soul, the solar plexus carries the emotions of our mother and father. How our relationships have been with them and how our interaction with those energies have played out in our lives. A very powerful area where we encounter ‘gut reactions’ that we either ignore or jump to. Both actions having consequences that we measure in ways of good and bad. A place where our destiny, it seems, can be determined. The realisation only coming later that no matter which path we take, twists and turns, will always lead to the ultimate drive of achieving happiness. The seat of the soul will seek this emotion, pushing us to feel this and that to help us learn and achieve this life-times goals. Goals that we indeed set at the point of incarnation into being a human. It is of course our disappointment that we have forgotten this at the point of feeling the effects of the journey.

Retirement from a working career. You may start questioning your life purpose. You may experience feelings of rejection from society, and feel you are no longer needed by your family. A great knowing that the paths chosen in your younger years have led you to where you are now. A time of acceptance and acknowledging your purpose of life is still joy. Our soul will always wait for us. Never hurrying our journey - time measured in soul life time not a human life span. The soul is patient. At this time we will care less of the opinions of others, this awakening will drive us forward to a deep contentment. We can embrace this time.
